1. KAILASAGIRI HILLS
There is a park atop the hill., with a beautiful view of city and beach. there is a train on the hill offereing a tour of nature. here only there is a another park called TENNETI park. Many movies Shot here. best place to shoot movies and short films, photography.
2.SIMHACHALAM:
There is a famous temple 15 km away from city. it is dedicated to lord narsimha swamy ., HINDU'S TEMPLE. And temple bears reference to indian architecture.
3.JAGADAMBA CENTRE:
Famous for shopping centers and malls. many theaters found here. you can found all type of shopping malls.
4. BEACHES:
Vizag city best known for its many beaches. some popular beaches are-
RAMA KRISHNA BEACH: Most popular beach. most of the people night will gather here . you can find locals hanging out during summer. different type of statues placed on beside road.
On december 31st night ( new year celebrations) this place became more beautiful than usual days. so much crowd will gather here.
RUSHIKONDA BEACH:
IT BECOMES MOST POPULAR TOURIST SPOT. AND MORE CLEANEST THAN ANY OTHER. Resorts available here. Rushikonda beach bags "BLUE FLAG CERTIFICATION" as cleanest beach. So many sports activities & events placed here to attract tourists.

Everyone loves to visit zoo along with family members. in this zoo .,For visitors management divided ZOO PAK into some sections for respective animals, birds.., to easy to visit. Management maintaing this zoo park cleanly ., effectively, and providing all required facilities to visitors. they placed mini museum inside of zoo park. and also so many special things inside we can't tell in words., but its a good experience.
6. BUDDHIST SITES :
Government of ANDHRA PRADESH has identified some buddhist spots in vizag city.., those are most important buddhist sites. Government started developing them as tourism spots.
➤1.BOJJANNA KONDA & LINGALA KONDA: Located at SANKARAM village few kilometers away from ANAKAPALLY, Visakhapatnam. There are two hills at " sankaram" village in short distance. The one on the east called BOJJANA KONDA ., one on the west called LINGALA KONDA. There we can find STUPAS, group of STATUES
➤2.THOTLA KONDA: Located at bhemunipatnam (15 km away from Visakhapatnam).
➤3.BAVIKONDA : Located at MADHURAVADA (30 km away from city). Bavikonda ancient Buddhist monastery is one of the best place for walk.
Museum established at the beach of RK BEACH. INS submarine constructed by Russians. It has played crucial role in 1971 indo-pak war at inside of sea. TO know more about history of submarine , watch "GHAZI" movie. movie based true incidents in indo-pak war. 8. BORRA CAVES: One of the major attractions of vizag. Borra caves are largest caves in INDIA. situated in ANANTHAGIRI hills. borra caves is a must visit tourist spot. The various interesting formations , beautiful lighting arrangements, rocks , temple makes this place a popular tourist spot.

Lambasingi small village in Chintapalli mandal of Visakhapatnam district. this area is cooler than surrounding plains. this place very much cool through out the year. Lambasingi area blessed by nature. This area is also called as " Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh". Average temperature in this area during summer is 15 °C ., and during winter it is 0 °C .
one of the best place for trekking. famous for coffee & some fruit plantations.
11.VANJANGI:
Vanjangi village located at Paderu (60 km away from Visakhapatnam city). The village has been emerging as latest tourist spot. once you reach paderu., you can road for 6 km by motor cycles then after you have to walk for 1 hour (4 km) to reach view point. One of the good place for trekking & for mountain lovers.
One thing to see in vanjangi is SUNRISE. The most auspicious moment of the visit to vanjangi is during sunrise., orange twilight, beyond the wispy cloud cover, announces arrival of sun. As this village emerging as new tourist spot., this village doesn't have much facilities like hotels., many people opting to camp in open places.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:
No matter where i am still i love vizag city. there is a different bonding with this city. my inter studies completed here. As i am food lover i love some street food items which are so special & famous in respective areas. Spending time on weekends at RK beach along with friends those are memorable moments. Especially on 31st december night is so special., So much crowd will gather here to celebrate new year celebrations. words cann't describe those moments.
➔Jagadamba centre this is only place i used to do shopping.
➔Un countable movies watched in SRI RAMA theater. theater just lies beside my college. if i get bored in class., I escaped to to watch movies along with classmates.
➔Still my friends planning events like 'get together' in zoo park. this is good place to gather .
➔CMR central mall, central park, tenneti park,.. .. these are the places i used to go to escape classes.
➔ANDHRA UNIVERSITY is a open university., open for all.
